Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our Stonehouse workshop. You will perform routine servicing, maintenance, and diagnostic fault-finding on a varied fleet of cars.

Based in Stonehouse with easy access to Gloucestershire, the role offers a stable weekday schedule (08:00–17:30), zero weekend shifts, and a salary in the £35,000–£40,000 bracket depending on experience. You will work with modern diagnostic software and a supportive, non-corporate team.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds (or equivalent) with proven hands-on experience.
• Full UK driving licence and your own hand tools.
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and a positive team player.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance across a diverse vehicle range.
• Stock preparation and parts organisation for workshop efficiency.
• Utilise diagnostic tools to fault-find and resolve issues.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic per annum (positioned directly within our standard bracket depending on hands-on experience and skill level)
• Hours: Permanent, stable weekday hours - 08:00am - 17:30pm (Guaranteed weekday schedule with STRICTLY ZERO WEEKEND SHIFTS)

You will carry out routine servicing, complete preventative maintenance and stock prep work across a diverse mix of vehicles, utilize modern diagnostic tools to resolve technical faults, and collaborate with a skilled team in a spacious, non-corporate setting.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 (or City & Guilds / equivalent)—time-served technicians with a proven track record are strongly encouraged to apply regardless of formal certifications
• Full UK driving licence & own hand tools
• Active MOT Tester licence or F-Gas certification is preferred, but not required
• Reliable, self-motivated professional with great attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and a positive team-player attitude
