Hawk Hiring LTD in Cheltenham is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Service Technician to join our independent dealership and service centre.

You will perform routine servicing, mechanical repairs, diagnostic fault-finding with modern equipment, and maintain manufacturer service procedures across customer vehicles to high industry standards.

The role offers regular daytime hours, on-site parking, and a supportive, low‑pressure environment with long-term opportunities.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as Vehicle Technician or Mechanic; NVQ/IMI Level 2 or 3 preferred.
• Solid knowledge of diagnostics, servicing and mechanical repair.
• DVSA MOT Smart Card or F‑Gas certification advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence and own hand tools.

• Carry out routine servicing on customer vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Perform general mechanical repairs and diagnostic fault-finding using modern equipment.
• Maintain manufacturer service procedures and ensure high quality workmanship.

Pay & Benefits

• Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 basic per annum (tailored directly to your hands‑on experience and technical skill level)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (100% WEEKEND FREEDOM with strictly zero weekend shifts required!)
