Job summary

Hawk Hiring LTD in Stonehouse is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / Car Mechanic to join our independent team in a modern workshop. Youll service and prepare premium stock with high-tech tooling, delivering quality workmanship in a supportive environment.

You will perform routine servicing, inspections, and repairs using diagnostics, with a focus on first-time fixes. A full UK driving licence and own hand tools are essential; MOT Tester licence is a plus.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 (or City & Guilds / equivalent). Time-served technicians with a proven track record are encouraged to apply.
• F-Gas certification preferred (or interest in obtaining).
• Full UK driving licence is essential. An active MOT Tester licence is preferred but not required.
• Must possess own hand tools to perform daily repair/diagnostic tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing, multi-point safety inspections, braking overhauls and general mechanical repairs.
• Complete preventative maintenance and prep work to meet our standards before handover.
• Use modern diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults.
• Maintain high 'first-time fix' standards across a diverse range of vehicles.
• Collaborate with a skilled technical team to keep workshop flow safe and efficient.

Your Role

What You Need
