DevOps Engineer Contract - Outside IR35! £400 - £435.00 per day 6-12 Months+ Hybrid – Leicester (3 days per week on-site) November Start

Overview

My client is undertaking a large-scale Global Ledger (GL) Transformation and is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join the Infrastructure team on a contract basis. This role will focus on building and optimising cloud infrastructure within Microsoft Azure, ensuring automation, scalability, and reliability across key finance and application environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build and maintain Azure infrastructure to support the GL Transformation initiative.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to automate environment creation and configuration.
  • Manage CI / CD pipelines within Azure DevOps, ensuring efficient build, release and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with Infrastructure, Application, and Security teams to align DevOps practices with organisational standards.
  • Support environment troubleshooting, incident resolution, and root cause analysis.
  • Drive continuous improvement and advocate best practices across infrastructure automation and cloud governance.
  • Implement and maintain monitoring and observability solutions using Dynatrace.
