Job summary

Jigsaw24 in the United Kingdom seeks a detail‑oriented Technician Support team member to manage the full lifecycle of devices—from receiving assets to preparing, packaging, and dispatching equipment. This role requires strong communication, technical proficiency, and the ability to collaborate across the business, with some physical handling involved in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Technical proficiency in running diagnostics and managing device software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
• Experience with ITSM toolsets and asset management is advantageous.
• Must be able to achieve DBS check, BPSS and SC clearance.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and Recording Assets: Accurately receive and record asset details, including the condition of devices.
• Device Grading: Use the grading matrix to determine if a device is fit to go into stock.
• Shipping and Packaging: Ship devices using various couriers, ensuring they are adequately packaged for safe delivery.
• Diagnostics and Erasure: Run diagnostics on various types of devices, ensure devices are erased, OS reinstalled, and enrolled into ABM/MDM where required.
• Communication and Collaboration: Communicate with various teams to assist in meeting KPI targets and objectives.
• Parts Management: Book in replacement spare parts from different suppliers and return defective spare parts as needed.
• ITSM Updates: Update internal and external ITSM toolsets with accurate information and ensure details sent to customers are correct.
• Vendor Communication: Communicate with vendors for repairs and ensure clear notes are added to our ITSM toolsets to enable other teams to update customers.
