Job summary

KO2 Embedded Recruitment Solutions LTD is recruiting an IT Technician to join an asset handling team onsite in Bathgate for a 3-month contract starting in early September. The role focuses on processing, wiping and preparing IT equipment for reuse, resale or disposal.

You will work as part of a small on-site team, following documented scripts and data-security procedures, with occasional travel to other client sites.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT technician experience required.
• IT diploma or equivalent qualification preferred.
• Ability to boot, troubleshoot and run wipe scripts.
• Reliable, methodical, and able to work on-site in Bathgate.

Responsibilities

• Handle and process IT assets (laptops, monitors, peripherals).
• Wipe and reset devices in line with data security scripts.
• Check in/out equipment and maintain asset records.
• Prepare devices for reuse, resale or disposal.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors for collection.
• Travel to client sites to hand over devices as needed.
