Job summary

Recorra Limited in Purfleet is seeking a Junior ITAD Operative to support IT asset disposal processes, including logging, manual handling and preparation for resale. You’ll join a small team in a busy environment, contributing to efficient ITAD workflows and ensuring accurate data capture.

You will be trained in all ITAD procedures and safety practices, with opportunities to develop technical skills and advance within the growing business.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail while processing equipment efficiently.
• Prioritise workloads and manage time effectively to meet daily processing targets.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
• Keen interest in technology and/or IT equipment.
• The ability to undertake the physical demands of a manual handling role.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team (we're a small team we all help each other when needed).

Responsibilities

• Manual handling of equipment and materials
• Accurately log and record equipment as it moves through the ITAD process
• Separating material for precious metal recovery
• Separating batteries for recycling
• Identifying and separating items suitable for reuse
• Organising and shrink-wrapping stock on pallets
• General housekeeping and warehouse duties
