Job summary

Spinwell Ltd is recruiting a Detention Engagement Officer for a 6-month contract based in Kidlington. The role involves conducting face-to-face engagements, inductions and assessments, and managing a portfolio of residents with timely IT-system updates.

The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication, leadership potential, and proven problem solving. You will work with multiple stakeholders and handle regular reporting while maintaining safety awareness and policy

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face engagements, including inductions and assessments.
• Discuss options and consequences of non-compliance with residents.
• Identify and manage vulnerability indicators per policy.
• Engage regularly with IRC suppliers and stakeholders.
• Provide case updates and manage a portfolio of residents.
• Record interactions accurately on IT systems and feed back to caseworkers.
• Contribute to management reports and handle admin duties such as inbox management and calls.
• Flag issues to management or other departments in a timely manner.
