Job summary

Triumph Consultants Ltd in Kidlington is seeking a Detention Engagement Officer to provide face-to-face support in a secure environment. The role is full-time, 37 hours per week, 6-month contract, 100% office-based with shift patterns including early and late starts.

You will build professional relationships, communicate clearly, assess needs, and update case records accurately. The position requires resilience, strong IT skills, and the ability to work across teams and with diverse individuals.

Qualifications

• Face-to-face engagements, inductions and assessments are required.
• Clear information delivery and discussion of non-compliance consequences.
• Ability to identify vulnerability indicators and manage them appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face engagements, inductions and assessments.
• Provide clear information and discuss options and consequences of non-compliance.
• Identify and appropriately manage vulnerability indicators.
• Maintain regular communication with casework teams and external service providers.
• Manage a portfolio of individuals and provide case updates.
• Accurately record interactions and information on IT systems.
• Provide timely feedback and elevate concerns appropriately.
• Contribute to reports, inbox management, telephone enquiries and general administration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
