Job summary

Triumph Consultants Ltd in Strathaven, Scotland, is recruiting a Detention Officer / Executive Officer to support residents within an Immigration Removal Centre environment. The role requires physical fitness and active CTC clearance, plus Scottish DBS or Enhanced DBS checks.

100% office-based, with early/late shifts, 37 hours per week, and a 3–6 month initial contract. Pay is £189.23 per day PAYE with flexible holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Active CTC minimum requirement and must be active.
• Scottish DBS/or Enhanced DBS are requirements of the role.
• You will need to be physically fit as this is a demanding role.
• 100% office-based – full-time.

Responsibilities

• Conducting face-to-face engagements, inductions and assessments
• Explaining options and consequences of non-compliance
• Identifying, recording and managing vulnerabilities in line with policy
• Working closely with IRC suppliers, stakeholders and caseworkers
• Providing accurate case updates and maintaining comprehensive records
• Recording all interactions promptly on IT systems
• Supporting management reporting and general administration, including inbox and telephone management
• Escalating risks, concerns and issues promptly and appropriately
• Remaining calm, professional and effective when dealing with challenging or sensitive situations
