Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Despatch Supervisor for our food manufacturing site in Wrexham. The role requires leading a team on a fast‑paced line, ensuring safe operations, on‑time dispatch, and accurate stock control.

You will manage 4 on 4 off shifts, coordinate forklift activities, and work with transport partners to meet daily targets while maintaining high quality standards.

Despatch Supervisor for our client, a professional yet friendly company that specialises in making and developing chilled meals for the top UK supermarkets, making over 3.7million chilled meals every week.

Staffline is recruiting Despatch Supervisors in

Wrexham.

The rate of pay is:

• - Days
• £18.22 per hour
• - Nights
• £19.74 per hour

This is a full-time role working fixed shifts, 4 on 4 off, and the hours of work are:

• - 6am to 6pm
• - 6pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

As a Despatch Supervisor you will be supervising a team of upto 10 warehouse colleagues on shift at this fast paced Food Manufacturing site.

• - Oversee safe working practices and environmental compliance.
• - Plan and monitor receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• - Maintain stock accuracy and manage forklift operations.
• - Drive continuous improvement and efficiency in warehouse processes.
• - Coordinate maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• - Implement best practices and support operational budget reduction.
• - Build a strong team culture and maintain training standards.
• - Manage staffing levels and manpower resources.
• - Coach and motivate the team to meet daily operational goals.
• - Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport partners.
• - Ensure SOPs and procedures are properly trained and followed.
