Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Warehouse / Despatch Operative in Wrexham to support a busy chilled meals operation supplying top UK supermarkets.

This full-time role offers 4 on 4 off shifts from 6am to 6pm or 6pm to 6am with pay of £13.64 per hour days and £14.72 per hour nights. On-site benefits include canteen, free parking, PPE, full training, and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

Experience in warehouse or despatch roles is preferred.
Able to work in cold storage at -5°C.
PPT licence or training offered on-site.

Responsibilities

Order picking, some FLT Reach work if trained and loading vehicles.
Using handheld scanners or RF guns.
Reading labels and codes accurately.
Spotting discrepancies (wrong item, damaged packaging).
Counting quantities correctly.
Working with units, boxes, cases, pallets.
Understanding pick lists, handheld scanner prompts.
Following standard operating procedures.
Working at a good pace without sacrificing accuracy.
Physically fit as bending, lifting, and reaching is required.
Using correct lifting techniques following warehouse safety rules.

Great opportunity to work as a Warehouse / Despatch Operative for our client, a professional yet friendly company who specialises in making and developing chilled meals for the top UK supermarkets, making over 3.7million chilled meals every week.

Staffline is recruiting Warehouse / Despatch Operative in Wrexham.

The rate of pay is:

£13.64 per hour for days
£14.72 per hour for nights

This is a full-time role, and the hours of work are:

4 on 4 off, 6am to 6pm
4 on 4 off, 6pm to 6am

Your Time at Work

Order Picking, some FLT Reach work if trained and Loading Vehicles
Using handheld scanners or RF guns
Reading labels and codes accurately
Spotting discrepancies (wrong item, damaged packaging)

Able to work in cold stores, minus 5 degrees.
Use of PPT is required to undertake all tasks, candidates with a current licence preferred but training can be provided.
