Mller Milk & Ingredients is recruiting a Shift Lead within our Despatch operation at Droitwich. You will lead frontline teams to deliver safety, service, and performance targets while developing capability and driving continuous improvement across the operation.

The role offers 4 on 4 off days & nights, a permanent contract and opportunities for progression within a leading UK food manufacturer. Expect a competitive bonus and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Despatch/Logistics or Transport environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-moving operational setting.
• Strong coaching, communication and people development skills.

As a Shift Lead, you'll be responsible for leading your team to deliver safety, service, quality and performance targets while developing individual capability and driving continuous improvement across the operation. Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing frontline teams to achieve operational targets.
• Coaching team members to solve problems and improve performance.

• Working collaboratively with other functions to improve overall business performance.

• Experience within a Despatch, Logistics, Warehouse, Distribution or Transport environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a fast-moving operational setting.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• A continuous improvement mindset with a passion for delivering results.
• The ability to influence, engage and motivate others.
