Job summary

Stantec seeks a Desktop Analyst to join the UK Desktop Support team, delivering high-quality end-user support across Birmingham offices and remote sites. You will handle desk-side and remote troubleshooting, hardware builds, and project involvement including office moves and integrations.

You will contribute to service excellence through proactive incident resolution, strong customer service, and collaboration with peers across the UK, with occasional travel to regional offices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Solid understanding of PC hardware, including configuration and rebuilds.
• A collaborative mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Flexibility to travel occasionally to regional offices.

Responsibilities

• Resolve end-user hardware, software, and connectivity issues efficiently.
• Provide desk-side and remote technical support across Windows environments.
• Build, configure, rebuild, and deploy PCs and peripherals.
• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve incidents and improve service delivery.
• Support IT projects, including system and organisational integrations.
• Build strong relationships with users through excellent customer service.
• Travel occasionally to regional offices to provide on-site support.
• Your work will directly support the productivity and experience of colleagues across Stantec UK.
