Stantec seeks a Desktop Analyst to join the UK Desktop Support team, delivering high-quality end-user support across Birmingham offices and remote sites. You will handle desk-side and remote troubleshooting, hardware builds, and project involvement including office moves and integrations.
You will contribute to service excellence through proactive incident resolution, strong customer service, and collaboration with peers across the UK, with occasional travel to regional offices.
You'll join an established Desktop Support team across the UK of around 20 people, delivering high-quality technical support to end users through desk-side and remote support. Working collaboratively with your peers, you'll help resolve operational and technical issues while maintaining excellent service standards. You'll also have opportunities to contribute to challenging projects, including upcoming integration work related to newly acquired organisations as well as office moves. With teams spread across the UK, the role offers exposure to supporting users both regionally and nationally. Please note due to the nature of the role you would be required to be office based, spending time each week across our Birmingham offices ((Edmund Street, Cherry Street and Redditch).
In the Desktop Analyst role, you will deliver direct value to the business by ensuring reliable and efficient end‑user technology that enables colleagues to work productively with minimal disruption. You will reduce downtime through prompt incident resolution, proactive problem management, and clear communication with users. You will also support continuous improvement by identifying recurring issues, and adhering to security and IT policies, helping the business operate smoothly, securely, and cost-effectively.
