Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Design Management Leader to drive and coordinate the Design Management Team. The role involves directing DM projects across the UK and internationally, mentoring staff, and ensuring quality control and contractual compliance.

You will collaborate with team leadership on business development, planning, and project delivery while maintaining design quality and budget discipline. Hybrid work options are available, with potential client-site engagements.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the design process.
• Project and design programming skills.
• Experience in development and implementation of design management tools and procedures.
• Commercial awareness of projects.
• Construction knowledge/experience.
• Proficiency in MS Project/Excel/InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Design Management Team and oversee performance, business development and planning.
• Lead DM projects across the UK and internationally.
• Manage sub-consultants, contracts, cash flows and reporting.
• Develop and implement design management procedures, programmes, deliverables and budgets.
• Mentor junior team members and ensure quality and contractual compliance.
