Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior Design Management lead to manage and mentor the Design Management Team on UK and international projects. You will drive governance, procedures and coordination across design disciplines while maintaining budget and schedule controls.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the design process.
• Project and design programming skills.
• Experience in development and implementation of design management tools and procedures.
• Commercial awareness of projects.
• Construction knowledge/experience.
• Proficiency in MS Project/Excel/InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Design Management Team and oversee performance.
• Manage sub-consultants and back-to-back contracts.
• Develop design programmes, monitor progress and deliverables.
• Control design budgets and change management.
• Organise project meetings and design workshops.
• Mentor junior Design Management staff and ensure quality.
