Job summary

AECOM is seeking a senior Design Management professional to lead the Design Management Team across the UK and international projects. You will drive timely design outcomes, mentor staff and ensure quality and contractual compliance.

You will develop DM tools, implement procedures, manage sub-consultants and budgets, and collaborate with leadership to support business development and performance reviews.

Qualifications

• Understanding of the design process.
• Project and design programming skills.
• Experience in development and implementation of design management tools and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Commercial awareness of projects.
• Construction knowledge/experience.
• Proficiency in MS Project/Excel/InDesign.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Design Management team across the UK and internationally.
• Support in business development and team performance reviews.
• Develop and implement Design Management procedures and budgets.
• Manage sub-consultants, contracts, and cash flow projections.
• Review outputs for quality and contractual compliance.
• Mentor junior team members and lead design workshops.
