Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Design Management leader to drive delivery across the UK and international projects. You will mentor a team, develop design management procedures, and ensure quality and contractual compliance on complex assignments.

You will lead programs, coordinate with stakeholders, manage budgets and change, and advance design quality while supporting senior leadership and business development efforts. Hybrid work options apply.

Qualifications

Understanding of the design process.
Project and design programming skills.
Experience in development and implementation of design management tools and procedures.
Excellent communication skills.
Commercial awareness of projects.
Construction knowledge/experience.
Proficiency in MS Project/Excel/InDesign.

Responsibilities

Manage the Design Management team and support leadership with business development and performance reviews.
Lead Design Management projects across the UK and internationally, ensuring quality and contractual compliance.
Develop and mentor junior team members; review outputs before issue.
Establish and implement design management procedures, including roles, programmes, outputs, budgets and change control.
Manage sub-consultants, contracts, cash flows and monthly financial reporting.
