Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Design Management leader to drive the DM team across the UK and internationally, ensuring quality, schedule, and contractual compliance. You will mentor staff, deliver design programmes, manage sub-consultants, and lead governance across projects within a global infrastructure client base.

Qualifications

Understanding of the design process.
Project and design scheduling skills.
Experience in development and implementation of design management tools and procedures.
Excellent communication skills.
Commercial awareness of projects.
Construction knowledge/experience.
Proficiency with design software and tools.

Responsibilities

Lead the Design Management Team across the UK and Internationally.
Manage updates to sub-consultant contracts and prepare final documents.
Establishment and implementation of Design Management procedures including roles and responsibilities, scopes, programmes, deliverables and budgets.
Assist in the development of junior Design Management team members through mentoring, training and reviews.
Support the Design Management team Leadership as required and contribute to performance management of the team.
