Job summary

Xtrac Ltd is seeking a Design Engineer to design and detail gearbox components and complete transmission systems. You will create engineering drawings and work across engineering, manufacturing and commercial teams to move designs from concept to road and track.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year post-graduate experience in a design environment, a mechanical/automotive/aerospace degree, and proficiency with CAD tools such as Siemens NX and Teamcenter.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year post-graduate design engineering experience.
• Qualified to at least BEng or BSc in Mechanical, Automotive or Aerospace.
• Competent in CAD, preferably Siemens NX and Teamcenter.
• Experience with rotating metallic components and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail gearbox components and complete transmission systems.
• Create and develop engineering drawings and guide manufacturing.
• Collaborate with commercial and manufacturing functions to ensure quality.
