Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Pathway Co-ordinator to support the Endoscopy waiting list service and related administrative tasks. The role involves liaising with consultants, booking appointments, inputting data and ensuring timely notification to patients.

You should hold GCSE English and demonstrate advanced IT literacy with experience using various IT applications.

Qualifications

Educated to GCSE English standard with literacy skills to operate IT systems efficiently.
Advanced IT literacy and experience using a range of IT applications.
Ability to provide accurate waiting list administration and data input.

Responsibilities

Provide an efficient Endoscopy waiting list service for consultants and teams.
Cover reception duties as required.
Input patient information onto IT systems and prepare daily waiting lists.
Contact patients to arrange appointment dates following Booking Policy.
Prepare and send notification letters and ensure notes/results are available prior to attendance.
Liaise with wards and departments and escalate urgent issues to a senior manager.
Undertake Trust required training and adhere to national guidelines.
