Job summary

Starbucks EMEA in London is seeking a Deputy Store Manager to partner with the Store Manager and co‑lead the store, delivering outstanding commercial, operational and people results. You’ll be empowered with accountability from compliance to training and will lead the store in the store manager’s absence.

You’ll bring experience in a dynamic retail or hospitality environment, translate metrics into actions, and drive customer experience with a growth mindset and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in fast-paced retail or hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Co-leading the store to achieve financial targets, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
• Owning business areas such as compliance, labour management or local marketing.
• Leading the store leadership team with clear roles and accountability for results.
• Forecasting future staffing needs and participating in recruitment.
• Owning partner training and ensuring onboarding success.
• Acting as the store manager when required with full accountability.
• Monitoring store KPIs, analysing trends and implementing actions.
• Driving cost control and profitability through resource planning.
• Closing standards and opportunity gaps using the action plan.
• Ensuring consistent delivery of brand and operational standards.
