Job summary

Starbucks is seeking a deputy store manager in the UK to partner with the store manager in leading a busy store and delivering outstanding commercial, operational and people results. You will be empowered with direct accountability for compliance, training and local marketing, and will lead the store in the absence of the manager.

You will bring experience from retail or hospitality, translate metrics into action, and lead with a growth mindset while managing both people and operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced retail or hospitality setting.
• Ability to translate metrics into actions and drive performance.
• Strong communication and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Co-lead the store with the store manager to achieve targets.
• Own business areas such as compliance, training and local marketing.
• Lead the store leadership team and ensure accountability for results.
• Forecast staffing needs and participate in recruitment and selection.
• Oversee partner training and ensure successful onboarding.
• Act as store manager when required with full accountability.
