Qualifications

• Registered nurse on Part 1 or Part 12 of the NMC Register.
• 2 years post registration experience of which one year in Endoscopy.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Endoscopy Unit Manager to coordinate the endoscopy lists.
• Manage staff on a daily basis to ensure the safe delivery of the service.
• In the absence of the Unit Manager, carry out management responsibility for the Department.

Responsibilities

• The endoscopy Service provides a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in gastroscopy, PEG, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy, EBUS and ERCP.
• The post holder will assist the Endoscopy Unit Manager to coordinate the endoscopy lists and manage staff on a daily basis to ensure the safe delivery of the service for all patients.
• In the absence of the Unit Manager, they will carry out management responsibility for the Department.
