Deputy Service Manager - Band 5 - Permanent
(Monday-Friday, Flexible hours between 0800-17.00 with the option to WFH 1-2 days per week).
An opportunity has arisen in the Respiratory for a full time Deputy Service Manager to join our department.
We are looking for a confident, well-motivated, pro-active individual to support the delivery of some key projects, both strategically and operationally.
The administration team consists of a variety of administration roles, providing a high-quality administration service to both patient and clinical teams.
We have a management team that is supportive, innovative and proactive in ensuring we provide a high-quality service.
We are keen to ensure that staff are developed within their environment in order to achieve vision and deliver care that reflects the values and behaviours of the team.
The successful candidate will support the Speciality General, Manager, Associate Speciality Manager and Service Managers to manage the services and achieve the best patient care at City Campus. The post holder will be responsible for management of RTT pathways and admin teams to ensure a high quality and efficient administrative service is provided.
The post holder will also have line management responsibility alongside the other Respiratory Deputy Service Manager for the administration team.

Working closely with the Respiratory Management team, you will have excellent communication skills with proven experience of being able to manage multiple demands from different areas. You will have the ability to deal with sensitive situations and conflict in a diplomatic and tactful manner to ensure all stakeholders needs are met.
You will have experience in both leading and delivering elements of projects. You will possess the ability to work under pressure, with excellent planning, time management and organisational skills.
The successful candidate will have the ability to anticipate and manage capacity and performance issues in a timely manner. They will be able to organise and prioritise their own workload against constantly changing demands to meet agreed targets and deadlines, working flexibly as required across all NUH campuses.
It is desirable for applicants to be competent in the use of Careflow, Qlik Sense, DrDoctor, Outlook and Excel.

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
