Job summary

Oaktree Education Services is seeking a Deputy Manager (Project Manager) for its Supported Accommodation. The role leads the frontline team, ensuring safe, stable, and development-focused support for young people in a housing setting.

Based in the United Kingdom, the post offers full-time hours, with flexibility for evenings, weekends and bank holidays, and an on-call element with additional pay. On-site parking is available.

Qualifications

• Trauma-informed and person-centred care approach.
• Experience in leadership within residential childcare or supported accommodation.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required.
• Ability to collaborate with local authorities, families and education providers.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of allocated responsibilities and complete tasks within timescales.
• Support the effective day-to-day operation and development of the service.
• Maintain high standards of care, safeguarding and professional practice.
• Support and guide staff within the service.
• Identify concerns, risks or improvement areas and raise with the manager.
• Work collaboratively with Head of Supported Accommodation and wider management team.
• Ensure policies, procedures and expectations are followed.
• Keep Operations Manager informed of significant issues or risks.
• Support ongoing development of the service as the organisation grows.
• Take on additional responsibilities or projects as required.
