Job summary

Oaktree Education Services is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager for Supported Accommodation to ensure effective day-to-day running and developmental progress within our growing service. You will oversee staff practice, safeguarding records and the quality of support plans, while deputising for the Operations Manager as required.

Working with local authorities, families and education providers, you will promote trauma-informed, person-centred support and ensure compliance with safeguarding

Qualifications

• Previous experience in deputy manager or similar role in supported accommodation.
• Knowledge of Ofsted's Supported Accommodation Regulations and Quality Standards.
• Experience contributing to staff supervision, quality assurance activities or service development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Operations Manager with the management and ongoing development of the supported accommodation service, deputising when required.
• Oversee staff practice, safeguarding records and quality of support plans; monitor progress and respond to risks.
• Collaborate with local authorities, families, education providers and professionals to provide coordinated support.
• Identify safeguarding concerns and escalate significant matters to the Operations Manager.
• Contribute to service improvement and organisational growth, and take on additional projects as needed.
