Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced RGN or RMN with a strong nursing home background to join the management team as Deputy Nurse Manager. Youll work closely with the Home Manager, supporting clinical standards and ensuring residents continue to receive safe, personalised and compassionate care.

Youll work alongside the Home Manager to support the clinical and operational running of the home, provide visible clinical leadership, review care plans and medication management,

• Experienced RGN or RMN with a strong nursing home background.

• Leadership in a care home environment.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Home Manager to support clinical and operational running of the home.
• Provide visible clinical leadership and guidance to nurses and care teams.
• Oversee high-quality nursing and dementia care delivery.
• Review care plans, risk assessments and clinical documentation.
• Support safe and effective medication management.
• Maintain safeguarding, infection control and clinical governance standards.
• Lead clinical audits and quality improvement initiatives.
• Coach and develop nursing and care staff.
• Build relationships with residents, relatives and external professionals.
• Deputise for the Home Manager when required.

Your Role

• Work alongside the Home Manager to support the clinical and operational running of the home
• Provide visible clinical leadership and guidance to nurses and care colleagues
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality nursing and dementia care
• Review care plans, risk assessments and clinical documentation
• Support safe and effective medication management
• Maintain strong standards across safeguarding, infection control and clinical governance
• Support clinical audits and continuous quality improvement
• Coach, mentor and develop members of the nursing and care teams
• Build positive relationships with residents, relatives and external professionals
• Deputise for the Home Manager when required, providing continuity of leadership
