Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is sourcing an experienced RGN or RMN to join a luxury nursing home in the UK rated Good by CQC. The Deputy Nurse Manager will work closely with the Home Manager, providing confident clinical leadership and supporting nursing and care teams to sustain high standards.

The role covers residential, nursing and dementia care, overseeing care plans, risk assessments, medication management and governance. DBS, right to work in the UK, and NMC checks are required.

Qualifications

• Qualified nurse (RGN or RMN) with current NMC registration.
• Experience as Deputy Nurse Manager in a nursing home.
• Strong clinical leadership and team supervision skills.
• Ability to oversee care plans, medications and risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership alongside the Home Manager.
• Offer visible leadership to nursing and care colleagues.
• Maintain high standards across residential, nursing and dementia care.
• Oversee care plans, risk assessments and medication management.
• Monitor clinical practice and address residents' changing needs.
• Lead on clinical audits, governance and quality improvement.
• Maintain safeguarding and infection prevention standards.
• Support supervision and development of staff.
• Build relationships with residents, relatives and external professionals.
• Deputise for the Home Manager when required.

We’re looking for an experienced RGN or RMN who has already worked as a Deputy Nurse Manager within a nursing home. You’ll work closely with the Home Manager, providing confident clinical leadership, supporting the nursing and care teams and ensuring consistently high standards across the service.

Providing Clinical Leadership

• Support the Home Manager with the clinical and operational running of the home
• Provide visible leadership and guidance to nursing and care colleagues
• Maintain high standards across residential, nursing and dementia care
• Oversee care plans, risk assessments and medication management
• Monitor clinical practice and ensure residents’ changing needs are identified and addressed
• Lead on clinical audits, governance and quality improvement
• Maintain strong standards across safeguarding and infection prevention
• Support the supervision and development of nursing and care colleagues
• Build positive relationships with residents, relatives and external healthcare professionals
• Deputise for the Home Manager when required and provide confident leadership in their absence
