Career Makers is seeking a Deputy Manager for a newly developed Supported Living service in Tamworth. The role focuses on guiding a team to deliver person-centred care for individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

The position offers a £38,000 annual salary, full-time hours, and a range of benefits including progression opportunities and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a supported living setting
• Experience as a Senior Support Worker/Team Leader/Deputy Manager is desirable
• Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health needs
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required due to travel requirements

Responsibilities

• Support the Registered Manager with day-to-day running of the service
• Lead and support a team of Support Workers
• Assist with rotas, administration and medication
• Support individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and complex support requirements
• Assist with behaviours that challenge and implement positive behaviour support

Responsibilities as a Deputy Manager:

• Supporting the Registered Manager with the day-to-day running of the service.

Requirements as a Deputy Manager:

• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required due to the nature of the role and travel requirements.
