Job summary

Burrow Down Support Services is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to support our Supported Living and Residential Services across Torquay, Brixham and Paignton.

The role focuses on leading teams, delivering person-centred care for adults with learning disabilities and autism, ensuring high-quality services, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience within Supported Living or Residential Care.
• Knowledge and understanding of Learning Disabilities and Autism.
• Previous senior or leadership experience desirable.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• NVQ L3 or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day running of services.
• Lead staff supervision, support and performance management.
• Manage rotas and staffing levels.
• Participate in the on-call rota.
• Support CQC compliance and inspections.
• Liaise with MDT professionals, external agencies and families.
• Promote person-centred care and positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will support adults with Learning Disabilities and Autism while helping to lead teams and maintain high-quality, person-centred care.

• Staff supervision, support and performance management
• Managing rotas and staffing levels
• Participating in the on-call rota
• Supporting CQC compliance and inspections
• Liaising with MDT professionals, external agencies and families
• Promoting person-centred care and positive outcomes
