Job summary

Halfords Group PLC in Nottinghamshire is seeking a Designate Deputy Manager to support local stores across the area. You will lead in-store teams, motivate staff, and undergo comprehensive training to progress to a permanent Deputy Manager role.

The role requires at least one year of managerial experience in retail, coaching skills, health and safety knowledge, and the ability to hit sales targets. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quick learning of in-house systems is essential.

Qualifications

• At least one year of managerial experience, preferably in retail.
• Experience in managing and coaching colleagues.
• Knowledge of health and safety and retail operations compliance.
• Skills in labor scheduling and time management.
• Proven ability to deliver coaching and training in real time.
• Track record of achieving sales targets including attachment sales.
• Strong commercial acumen and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with ability to learn in-house systems.
