Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Designate Deputy Manager in Surrey to support local stores. You will lead in-store teams, deliver exceptional customer service, and receive comprehensive training to prepare for a permanent Deputy Manager role.

The position requires at least one year of managerial experience, coaching abilities, and knowledge of health and safety and retail operations, plus a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• At least one year of managerial experience in retail.
• Experience in coaching colleagues.
• Knowledge of health and safety and retail operations compliance.
• Skills in labor scheduling and effective time management.
• Proven ability to deliver coaching and training in real time to enhance customer experiences.
• Track record of achieving sales targets, including attachment sales.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of the current operating environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; able to learn in-house systems.
