Job summary

Flow Sports Personnel Ltd, on behalf of our client in Watford, seeks an ambitious Deputy Manager to take accountability for the centre in the General Manager's absence. The role is highly autonomous with a clear path to a General Manager within twelve to eighteen months, backed by ongoing training and development.

You will lead coaching and development of the team, maintain a safe, fun customer environment, and drive the centre's performance, including front- and back-office operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months experience in a customer-facing management role in leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Proven ability to deliver on financial targets and drive business and sales.
• Passion for developing people and coaching your team.
• Fanatical about customer service.
• Ambition for success.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor the team on shift and maintain a safe, fun customer environment.
• Support the General Manager with back-of-house duties and front-of-house operations.
• Deliver financial targets and service standards.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day centre operations in a busy setting.
