Job summary

Dimensions (UK) Ltd. is seeking a Deputy Locality Manager to lead support teams across Bath and surrounding areas. You will deputise for the Locality Manager and ensure high-quality, personalised support with weekend availability.

Candidates should have experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs, and demonstrate leadership, initiative and decision-making. A full UK driving licence and transport access are required.

About the role

You'll work alongside the Locality Manager, helping to lead and develop support teams across Bath and the surrounding areas and ensuring people receive high-quality, personalised support. This is a fully off-rota management role. You'll focus on delegated management responsibilities and deputise for the Locality Manager when required. Weekend availability is essential to meet the needs of the locality.

You'll help:

• Lead, motivate and develop support teams
• Ensure people are fully involved in planning and reviewing their support
• Develop and oversee rotas around the needs and wishes of the people we support
• Build positive relationships with families and wider circles of support
• Support safeguarding, quality and regulatory compliance
• Recruit and develop colleagues and help manage team performance
• Manage resources effectively within agreed budgets
• Promote people's rights, choices, dignity and independence

The Deputy Locality Manager role includes delegated responsibility for areas including rota management, team development, compliance, safeguarding and financial management.

You’ll already have experience supporting people with a range of needs and be ready to build on your leadership skills. We're looking for someone who:

• Has experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autistic people and/or people with mental health needs
• Has the confidence to lead, motivate and develop colleagues
• Can work independently, use initiative and make appropriate decisions
• Has experience or understanding of risk management
• Understands the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards
• Communicates clearly and builds effective working relationships
• Can work flexibly across Bath and surrounding areas, including weekends
• Is willing to complete management development training
• Has a full UK driving licence and access to transport
