Job summary

Dimensions is seeking a Deputy Locality Manager to lead support teams across Bath and surrounding areas, ensuring high-quality, personalised care for people with learning disabilities, autism, and mental health needs. This is a fully off-rota management role with weekend availability essential.

You will deputise for the Locality Manager, develop rotas, and build strong relationships with families while ensuring safeguarding and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and/or mental health needs.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop colleagues.
• Understanding of risk management and safeguarding requirements.
• Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop support teams.
• Ensure people are involved in planning and reviewing their support.
• Develop and oversee rotas around people’s needs and wishes.
• Build positive relationships with families and wider circles of support.
• Support safeguarding, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Recruit and develop colleagues and help manage team performance.
• Manage resources effectively within budgets.
• Promote rights, dignity and independence for the people supported.
