Job summary

A leading care provider in Canterbury is seeking a Deputy Manager to ensure high standards of care in a Children's home. You will lead staff, manage operations in the manager's absence, and support the development of young people. Ideal candidates will have two years of relevant experience and a Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care. The role offers a salary of £38,000 - £40,000 per annum with flexible working hours and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

  • Two years experience working in a Children’s Home.
  • Knowledge and experience gained in a supervisory role in a Children’s Home.
  • Prepared to work early, late and night shifts on a rota basis.

  • Manage the home in the Manager’s absence.
  • Deliver care and support to the young people.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the staff team effectively.
