Job Details
  • Job Title: Deputy Headteacher
  • Location: Napier School, Farnborough, GU14 6EF
  • Salary: up to £55,000 per annum (not pro rata)
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30
  • Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
  • Start: September 2025
  • Note: UK applicants only. This role does not offer sponsorship.

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Deputy Headteacher to join our team at Napier School in Farnborough.

The Opportunity

The Deputy Headteacher will provide effective leadership and management of the school, ensuring the school meets its aims and operates within its strategic guidelines. The role focuses on achieving outstanding outcomes for children and young people, ensuring a safe environment, and maintaining high standards across education, care, and clinical programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed.
  • Participate in assessment of referrals.
  • Manage curriculum and act as lead for behavior support.
  • Work with multidisciplinary teams including education, residential care, and clinical staff.
  • Monitor student progress and behavior plans.
  • Maintain links with external organizations and stakeholders.
  • Ensure standards are maintained in accordance with policies and legislation.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to achieve high standards.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • Previous leadership experience in UK SEN settings.
  • UK QTS qualification.
