This is an exciting opportunity for an exceptional Deputy Headteacher/Vice-Principal/educational consultant to make a substantial impact supporting the Headteacher in transforming King Solomon High School from requires improvement to good and beyond. We are ideally seeking a candidate who is ambitious for Headship within the next 2-4 years and is looking for significant leadership experience in preparation for Headship.

Who are we looking for?

Professional Experience

  • A successful track record of transformational leadership and school improvement work at Deputy Head/Vice-Principal or consultant level for at least 3 years, within secondary schools.
  • Experience of transforming student behaviour, attitudes, and/or the quality of teaching and learning at Deputy Head/Vice-Principal or MAT leader level.
  • Experience of senior leadership in a challenging secondary school or a school undergoing significant change.
  • Experience working within the Ofsted inspection framework and other accountability and quality assurance systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of the current educational landscape, school compliance, staff performance, and HR matters.
