Job Title: Deputy Headteacher

Location: Napier School, Farnborough, GU14 6EF

Salary: up to £55,000 per annum (not pro rata)

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 08:30 - 16:30

Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

Start: September 2025

About the Role

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Deputy Headteacher to join our team at Napier School, Farnborough.

The opportunity

The Deputy Headteacher will provide effective leadership and management of the school, ensuring it meets its aims and objectives and operates within the overall strategy and guidelines. Key objectives include achieving outstanding outcomes for Children and Young People, ensuring a safe environment, and fostering a motivated staff group committed to excellence and professional development.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed as per local safeguarding board guidelines.
• Participate in the assessment of referrals.
• Act as the curriculum coordinator and manager across the school.
• Lead positive behaviour support initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including education, residential care, and clinical teams.
• Monitor student progress and Behaviour Support Plans.
• Maintain effective links with external colleagues and stakeholders.
• Ensure standards are maintained across education, care, and clinical programmes.
• Work collaboratively with the Head Teacher and leadership team to uphold high standards.
• Adhere to the SEN Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
• UK QTS with SEN leadership experience is required.
