Hesketh James in Manchester City Centre is seeking a Deputy General Manager for a premium luxury restaurant to lead a high-volume operation and partner with the General Manager to drive standards and develop the team.

The Role

As Deputy General Manager, you'll play a key role in leading a large, high-volume premium restaurant, working alongside the General Manager to drive standards, develop your team and create an atmosphere that keeps guests coming back.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a natural host who loves being on the floor, engaging with guests and leading from the front.

You’ll be responsible for:

We're looking for a confident, charismatic and commercially-minded hospitality leader with a proven track record in a premium, fresh-food restaurant environment.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience managing a large, high-volume quality restaurant
• Proven experience leading and developing large teams
• Outstanding front-of-house and guest engagement skills
• A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional service
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach and inspire
• A natural ability to build relationships and make guests feel genuinely valued
• The ambition to push boundaries, learn and progress within a growing business
