First Fence is seeking a skilled Depot Manager in the Glasgow area to lead depot operations, drive customer satisfaction, and manage inventory, SOPs, and health and safety. You will develop teams, oversee P&L, and ensure compliance with transport legislation and company policy.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and motivating a team.
• Strong knowledge of transport legislation and logistics.
• Experience delivering to KPI targets and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead depot operations and drive customer satisfaction.
• Oversee inventory with regular stock counts and discrepancy checks.
• Develop and implement SOPs; ensure policy and KPI adherence.
• Plan routes and transport to meet cost and timeliness goals.
• Provide training and coaching to colleagues for development.
• Act as site health and safety lead; conduct audits and risk assessments.
• Manage HR duties, performance reviews, and attendance.
• Foster positive employee relations and inclusive culture.
• P&L management for depot profitability and cost control.
