Stagecoach Andover Depot is seeking an experienced depot operations leader to manage daily operations, develop teams, and ensure service reliability. Qualifications

• Previous management or supervisory experience (within the bus/transport industry preferred, but not essential).
• Excellent computer skills
• Professional knowledge of Road Traffic Act and Employment legislation
• Ability to lead and inspire people to seek and follow operational best practice.
• Knowledge of employment legislation
• Excellent planning and prioritizing skills
• Self-motivated with a positive approach to change

Responsibilities

• Leading & Developing Teams – Manage, mentor, and support frontline colleagues, fostering inclusive environment.
• Performance Management – Overseeing driver performance and development plans.
• Coaching & Training – Collaborating with training to equip staff with skills.
• Employee Relations – Handling absence, grievances, disciplinary procedures fairly.
• Collaboration & Communication – Build relationships with drivers, managers and stakeholders.
• Operational Leadership – Manage daily depot operations and address challenges.
• External Stakeholder Management – Liaise with local authorities, media and outside bodies.
• Safety – Promote high safety standards and ensure everyone goes home safely.
