Job summary

Stagecoach Group Limited seeks a Depot Operations Manager in Porth to lead a high-performing depot team, drive safe, reliable service, and collaborate with Engineering to optimize performance. You will champion safety, customer focus, and staff welfare in daily operations.

The role requires strong leadership experience, a Transport Manager CPC Level 3 or willingness to work towards it, and excellent communication to guide decisions and stakeholder relations across the depot and beyond.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in team leadership and operational excellence.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead with confidence.
• Working knowledge of allocation systems and transport legislation.
• Calm, capable approach to typical management challenges.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and ensure welfare of drivers and a team of Duty Managers.
• Plan and deliver a cost-effective, customer-focused daily operation.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure the delivery of a safe, reliable, and high-quality service.
• Work collaboratively with the Engineering Manager to drive overall depot performance.
