Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals Careers is seeking a Hire Controller to provide exceptional customer service at our depot. You will welcome customers, answer inquiries in person, by phone, email or online, and guide them through the order journey with care.

You will use product knowledge to assist customers, maximise upsell opportunities, and ensure a positive experience from enquiry to post-hire feedback. A hands-on, highly operational role awaits.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Customer Service role with ability to handle inquiries and complete transactions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external customers.
• Comfortable using MS Office and basic IT systems in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers visiting the depot, building rapport and identifying needs.
• Handle enquiries via face-to-face, telephone, email and website requests, guiding outcomes.
• Manage orders from enquiry to post-hire feedback, ensuring a smooth customer journey.
• Utilise product knowledge to upsell where appropriate and deliver best-in-class service.
