Job overview

We are currently recruiting a full-time Clinical Shift Coordinator (37.5 hrs per week) to work across the Dental network.

As a Rota Coordinator, you'll be joining our dental team and will play a vital role in organizing our department rosters. The successful candidate will work with Healthroster and be responsible for the day-to-day management of dental nurse staffing rotas and allocations.

This post will ensure excellent planning, negotiating, and organization to provide adequate staffing cover.

This role will also provide high-quality personal assistance to the nursing management team, including administrative support in their absence, using own initiative and working independently.

This position is central to maintaining safe staffing levels and supporting high-quality patient care through effective coordination of dental nurse coverage across the dental network.

Main duties of the job

The Dental E-Rostering Coordinator will be an important member of the Dental team, expected to produce monthly e-rosters for the dental department. Initially, you will work closely with Senior Nurse, Matron, Band 7s, and Band 6s to develop their nurse staffing rosters until familiar with each unit's processes.

The post holder will be accountable for creating compliant and efficient rosters published at least 8 weeks in advance, ensuring safer staffing.

The post holder will manage roster requests and annual leave requests based on unit standards.
