Job summary

Harrods, a world-famous luxury department store in London, is hiring a Demand Planning Assistant for the Homewares team. You will support the Demand Planner to maintain forecasts, fulfilment, and stock across stores, online channels, and regional sites, helping improve availability and drive commercial performance.

You will work with Buying, Merchandising, Retail and Supply Chain, build relationships with suppliers, and use data to identify opportunities.

Qualifications

Experience in a Demand Planning, Merchandising, Buying, or similar retail support role.
Strong Excel and PC skills; SAP experience is a plus.
Excellent numeracy, communication, and time management skills.

Responsibilities

Support the development and maintenance of demand forecasts and fulfilment plans across multiple retail channels.
Monitor forecast accuracy, analyse performance reports, and help identify opportunities to improve planning effectiveness.
Manage replenishment and master data within SAP, ensuring accuracy and supporting optimal inventory levels.
Coordinate stock management activities, including purchase order administration, supplier communications, delivery tracking, and issue resolution.
Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support forecasting, fulfilment, and overall business performance.
