Job summary

Harrods in Knightsbridge is seeking a Demand Planning Assistant to support the Demand Planner in maintaining accurate forecasting, fulfilment, and stock management across the Homewares category. You’ll work with Buying, Merchandising, Retail, and Supply Chain teams to improve planning accuracy and product availability.

The role suits someone who enjoys working with data, building relationships, and contributing to commercial performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Demand Planning, Merchandising, Buying, or similar retail support role.
• Strong Excel and PC skills, with SAP experience considered highly advantageous.
• Excellent numeracy, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and maintenance of demand forecasts and fulfilment plans across multiple retail channels.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, analyse performance reports, and identify opportunities to improve planning.
• Manage replenishment and master data within SAP, ensuring accuracy and supporting optimal inventory levels.
• Coordinate stock management activities, including purchase orders, supplier communications, delivery tracking, and issue resolution.
