Job summary

First Military Recruitment Ltd is looking for a Transport Coordinator for a 6-month FTC in Cardiff. You will coordinate all customer service aspects related to the Transport department and liaise with hauliers to ensure on-time deliveries.

The role requires excellent customer service, strong administration, and problem-solving abilities. You should be IT literate and able to work well in a team or independently to support efficient transport operations.

Responsibilities

• Daily customer confirmations - confirmations are to be completed 48 hours prior to delivery.
• Responding to transport customer service queries by phone and email.
• Coordinating ETA and POD responses linked to orders.
• Daily interaction with haulers regarding customer deliveries.
• Coordinating redeliveries after turned away orders.
• Ensuring storage charges are applied to delayed orders.
• Weekly monitoring of the yard list to ensure timely deliveries.
• Daily interaction with transport planning to meet customer satisfaction.
• Liaise with aftercare when applicable.
